ASUKA HOSHI

Born in Tokyo in 1997. Majored in interior design at Musashino Art University. After learning spatial perspectives and knowledge of modeling, he switched to metalwork.While creating metalwork, he became interested in the traditional Japanese technique of mokumegane, and studied under metal sculpture artist Madara Manji. Not only has he honed his skills in traditional techniques, but his approach to creating works that make full use of exhibition spaces and contexts allows viewers to share their emotions and perceptions. After going independent, he continued working as an artist, and in 2024 he founded the LLC Ubsnant with a friend. His activities are diverse, including interior and product design for clients.

星飛鳥

1997 年東京生まれ。武蔵野美術大学でインテリアデザインを専攻。空間の視点や造形の知識を学んだ後、金工科 に転科。金工作品を製作する中で、日本の伝統技法である杢目金(もくめがね)の技術に興味を持ち、金属彫刻作 家・MADARA MANJI に師事。伝統技法の研鑽のみならず、展示空間やコンテクストを駆使した作品製作へ の取り組みは、鑑賞者の感情や知覚の共有を可能にします。独立後は作家活動をする傍ら、2024年に友人と合同会社 Ubsnantを立ち上げる。クライアントワークとしてのインテリア・プロダクトデザインなど、その活動は多岐にわたる。
